Effective Mathematics Teaching Practices: A Workshop for K12 Teachers

This Zoom conference will focus on the Effective Math Teaching Practices (MTPs), as outlined in Principles to Actions (NCTM).  Teachers will engage in authentic tasks and inquiry using Zoom, Breakout Rooms, and Jamboard. Join Megan Holmstrom, Justin Johns, and Ryan Grady as we explore the MTPs to deepen our understanding of the 8 Practices. We will unpack each of the Practices as a way to explore the impact of lesson design and instructional design.
